Abu Gharib

Why have we heard so much about the prisoners in Abu Gharib? It's front-page news everywhere. Abu Gharib is about 40 kilometers west of Baghdad. Before we ever got to Iraq it was known as one of the worst prisons in that country. It is said that even Sadaam Hussein used to go there to periodically kill a few prisoners with his own hand. Those who had even said a word against him or his government (Penal code 225) could be put to death. Why didn’t we hear about the atrocities that happened there before the US was forced to go there in order to protect innocent men women and children here in our own homeland?

I want to put things into perspective for us. Many of us are aware of the prison systems here in the US. The prisons here are tough and they're supposed to be. Many times I've heard stories where men have been raped and many have been killed in prisons as well. There are men sitting in our prisons and have been killed in our prisons by other inmates who were put there because they were caught with ounces of marijuana. Why don't we hear more about that? Because we've been duped that's why. The liberal, Satan controlled media has different priorities then we who follow Yeshua. They want to make us feel like the Iraqi terrorists are more important then our own people. They want us to feel like Iraqi terrorists are more important then our own prisoners and even more important then any law abiding US citizen. Rapes are happening daily in our prisons, so much so that comedians make jokes about dropping a bar of soap while in the shower. I'm not saying it's not wrong what a few of our soldiers did one day in a remote Iraqi prison (and yes they are finding out that the majority of these acts were done on one particular day). It was wrong. But I also know what it's like to be a soldier as I was an infantryman myself in the US Army.

Those soldiers had heard about American's getting killed and beheaded (Nick Berg wasn’t the first one). Under the conditions they were already under...it’d be easy to lose good judgment. This could be a time when temporary insanity may actually have a case. When I was being trained in the army we were continually told to "Kill without mercy". That was our motto and it was drilled into us. For a soldier that is key as in a time of war you either kill or be killed. That doesn’t mean we aren’t supposed to question morals of those who command us, but often times in the heat of battle it's easy to get confused. Abu Gharib is isolated and the soldiers there weren't prepared. Being away from home and in a different country can be very difficult.... they aren't on vacation. Especially when you're in a country where everyone wants to kill you. You hear about your fellow soldiers getting picked off almost daily and it makes you very angry. You become to feel helpless and then all of a sudden, you have a murdering terrorist right in front of you. Sure it's easy for us to sit back and judge them from here in our cozy homes in the US. But I've seen many a Christian come unglued because the local grocery store ran out of coke or whatever their favorite soft drink is. I've seen them fighting at Toys R Us on Christmas Eve because they waited too long to get the toy their little Timmy wanted. Well magnify that by a hundred times or more and you'll have the conditions of the typical soldier in Iraq. I lived in the Middle East off and on for 19 years. It can become unbearable… and I was Saved.

Many of these soldiers over there don't have the guiding of the Holy Spirit and they are aimless as it is. No, it isn't an excuse for them to do what they did, but before you judge them, judge yourself, then take another look at them and pronounce a just and fair judgment. You shouldn't have to be looking at them until you first take a look at the prisons here at home. There are worse things happening right here at home everyday, focus on that... not the child murdering terrorists in Iraq. The media here has actually gone so far as to print local Iraqi reactions concerning the verdict of the first American to be sentenced in relation to the Abu Gharib abuse. They said it was “too light a punishment”. Now lets think about this for a moment. It was too light a punishment but it was ok to them that American civilians were burned alive and hung from the bridge BEFORE this had even been known about in Abu Gharib. I was outraged when I read the local paper about the comments these Iraqis made about the sentencing of this American. Not outraged at what the Iraqis said, I know the mentality of Muslims, I was outraged that it was published HERE. I don't care what the Iraqis think about it, they don't have a place to talk until they apologize for what they've done to our civilians (which they never will). But how dare a reporter put any value on what the Iraqis think concerning abuse. Again, I'm not surprised, this is the liberal media. But we need to stand up against it. We need to become more proactive or else we are going to be over run by the liberals again and again. Our apathy has to stop, we have to write the local papers, vote conservative, use everything at our disposal to keep these animals from disgracing our Armed Forces any further. "But we shouldn't get angry, we're Christians... Christians means Christ-like!". Let me tell you, Christ got angry. He got so angry once that He took up a whip and beat the devil out of a bunch of thieves and liars at the Temple. I want us to be Christ-like, you're right about that. Let's get very Christ-like and stop the liars in our towns from spreading their filth. Boycott their papers, television shows and everything else they put out. It's a cliché, but we can make a difference.

To close, I don’t feel sorry for the prisoners at Abu Gharib, they're fortunate they weren't killed in the first place. If I were there I wouldn't be taking many prisoners. I'd kill without mercy, that is the job of a soldier. That may sound terrible to you, but we are dealing with a particular type of religion and society there. The same type that Moses came across called the Midianites. In Numbers chapter 31 G-d told Moses to kill all the men, boys and the women who had slept with a man

31:9
The Israelites captured the Midianite women and children and took all the Midianite herds, flocks and goods as plunder. 10 They burned all the towns where the Midianites had settled, as well as all their camps. 11 They took all the plunder and spoils, including the people and animals, 12 and brought the captives, spoils and plunder to Moses and Eleazar the priest and the Israelite assembly at their camp on the plains of Moab, by the Jordan across from Jericho. [1]
13 Moses, Eleazar the priest and all the leaders of the community went to meet them outside the camp. 14 Moses was angry with the officers of the army-the commanders of thousands and commanders of hundreds-who returned from the battle.
15 "Have you allowed all the women to live?" he asked them. 16 "They were the ones who followed Balaam's advice and were the means of turning the Israelites away from the LORD in what happened at Peor, so that a plague struck the LORD's people. 17 Now kill all the boys. And kill every woman who has slept with a man, 18 but save for yourselves every girl who has never slept with a man.

I'm not saying our Armed Forces should do this same thing... but I will say, I don't shed any tears for adult male Iraqi terrorists.
One last note: About the Geneva convention. We had to study the rules of the Geneva Convention when I was in the service. Some of the rules are absurd. For example... We could not shoot a 50 caliber (an automatic machine gun with very large rounds) at a person as it was too big a round and thus inhumane... but we could shoot it at equipment. Equipment qualifies as another soldiers helmet. A 50 caliber round would disintegrate any helmet made of any material. So we were told to point our 50 calibers at the enemy’s helmet. This is just an example of some of the silly rules of the Geneva Convention. As far as treating prisoners of war humanly, I think the Geneva Convention should only apply if BOTH PARTIES are enforcing it. It's foolish for us to keep rules that the other side doesn't want to follow. If they can behead our guys, we should be allowed to do the same thing to theirs. Fair is fair. They want to go to Allah so bad... let's get them on their way.

You know what you are insane Rabbi stanley.  The reason behind your cruelity and unlawful judgement is because ever since time began you were always against Islam.  You Jews or I would say Zionists are all the same, no wonder your people are always being killed in Palestine and Israel.  Let me tell you whatever happens to your people, you guys diserve what you get, because it is people like you who are a disgrace to religion.  Oh I understand what kind of a Rabbi you are, the kind that plays (omitted), and brain washes people in the way of religion, for your own demeaning needs.  Down with you people, even innocent Jews are brainwashed by your disgusting attire, that you fool people into preaching your religion is great, well read your article one more time, and say to yourself, what kind of morals do you have as religious leader, apparently none!!  I would conclude, I hope, that people like you do not leave this earth being unharmed, I hope that if there is a god, which I believe there is, I hope you get what you deserve... Please dont even preach about Moses, because he was not immoral the way you bring fake surmons from him.  I hope justice is served, and people like you get what you deserve.

My Reply:
Ah yes, you are so full of love and compassion aren't you? Gee, I wanna be just like you so I can call other people vile names and say how moral I am at the same time. Well, let me tell you what you are Nafi, you are a hypocrite and a blind fool. You need to wake up and see that Islam is a religion of hate (just take a look at yourself for proof). There are Muslims now who are leaving Islam by the hundreds because they (the intelligent ones) are beginning to see the destructive ways of the religion.
Watch this short video below of a Muslim Terrorist turned Zionist, it's the only favor I'll ever do for you.
